The Boys: What are the powers of all the characters?

In The Boys there are several characters with powers and in this post I will talk about the power of each one of them.

In The Boys the superheroes are not as we usually think. They are cruel, irresponsible and abuse their powers. A team of vigilantes who have suffered a lot at their hands decide to fight a battle against them and reveal the secret behind the super powers.

1. Homelander / Captain Motherland

   

   The leader of the hero group The Seven. Homelander is based on the DC superman and his powers are: Invulnerability, super strength, x-ray vision, heat rays, flying, flying at super speeds, has super human stamina and super hearing.

2. Queen Maeve

   

   Inspired by Wonder Woman, Queen Maeve is one of the oldest of the Seven and her powers are: Super strength, stamina, reflexes, agility and superhuman durability. She has excellent fighting skills. Maeve has strength all over her body and in the comics she can do super jumps despite not being able to fly. Maeve is also invulnerable but not as much as the homeland.

3. The Deep

   

   Inspired by Aquaman, The Deep can talk to fish with telepathy and breathe underwater. He appears to be quite alone and likes the fish he talks to very much. He also has enhanced strength, enhanced durability and enhanced  swimming than a human without powers.

4. A-Train

   

   Inspired by Flash. A-Train has super speed, accelerated perception, accelerated healing, super strength and durability. he is the fastest man in the world, in one scene he only beats another runner for using a drug that increases his powers.
    

5. Annie January / Starlight

   

   Starlight is the youngest recruit of the Seven. She can manipulate light energy and has super strength and durability, she can absorb electricity and unleash energy attacks, she can also make her eyes go white. Her real name is Annie January and she really wants to help people with her powers and is disappointed with the Seven after meeting them for real.

6. Translucent

   

   Translucent has increased strength and a carbon skin that is impenetrable and that also makes it translucent, that is, the light passes through his skin making him invisible. His skin is very strong but he has a weak point as discovered by the French. Inside him it is not carbon.
    

7. Black Noir

   

   This is the most mysterious member of the Seven. He appears to have super strength, durability, hearing and agility, as well as having martial arts skills. He hasn't been a very well-explored character until now, he's a recluse and minds his on business. As soon as more about him is revealed I will update this post.

8. Kimiko / The Female

   

   Kimiko is mute and is the only member of The Boys who has powers. Kimiko was a prisoner who is helped by the French. Kimiko has healing powers and strength, durability, speed, agility and reflexes above average.

9. Stormfront

   

   Stormfront is the new member of the Seven and has electrical powers, she manipulates electricity and uses it in combat, she can also fly and has super durability. Stormfront manages to withstand the homelander's laser attacks.

10. Mesmer

    

    Mesmer is a celebrity on The Boys. Their powers are simpler compared to others. He has telepathy when touching people he can read their thoughts. Mesmer is also able to manipulate memory and read people's memories by touching them.

11. Popclaw

    

    Popclaw can extend claws of the body and use as weapons, has increased strength, super durability and stamina.

12. Ezekiel

    

    Ezekiel can stretch any part of his body. He's an elastic man.

13. Shockwave

    

    Shockwave's power is also super speed, he loses a race to the A-Train and is the second fastest runner in the world.

14. The Lamplighter

    

    The Deep mentions about The Lamplighter in the series saying he was one of the Seven but now he is retired. He has a Staff that gives him the power to generate and manipulate fire. In the comics he is a parody of Green Lantern.
